Looking from the boarder barn I could watch the dude rides going in and out.  One day I noticed this lady that showed up at a dude ride wearing lime green pedal pushers.  She was hard to miss.

The wrangler put her up on Posole who was a half draft palaminto.  The lady was a fairly good size herself.  If I remember right it took a little help from the wrangler and her adult son to get her on board.

In order to appreciate this story you need to understand that this lady outweighed the wrangler by at least a hundred pounds.

When they returned everyone got down except our lady.  She couldn’t stand up and throw her leg over.  After trying different things It came down to having her son standing on one side of the horse and the wrangler on the other side.  Her son had to push her off and the wrangler had to catch her!  Believe it or not she did not hit the ground.  A great recovery!

I had to run back into the barn.  I was laughing so hard I was crying.  How rude.
