These pups are still very young but there are eight of them, seven boys and one girl, so i thought I had better get the word out. Mom dog is a plott/catahoula/pit cross and dad is a mastiff. Mom comes from a ranch in Arizona where they used these dogs both on cattle and to hunt bear and lion. Mom will work, she will gather the horses, but hasn't hunted. She is a killer watch dog. Dad is a good watch dog and livestock protection dog. All eight pups are black and brindle, some have a little white on them. They should be good sized dogs with a lot of bottom and speed. The parents are both good around kids but don't trust adults they don't know. I'm asking $125.00 a pup, but will deal if you take more than one. Big and still growing. She probably won't mature until she's about two.
Mountain mastiff are used as farm/ranch/family protectors. They guard
against invaders of any kind,two or four footed, and are really good against
coyote or wolves.The have a built in affinity for children and natural
protectors of livestock. Being smaller than some mastiffs they are fast
and agile. Skye is already guarding the property and learning to work
in tandem with an older dog when chasing away stray dogs. She was raised
with horses and other dogs. She's still young enough to bond with other
dogs and humans.
