Steren is one of those Fjords that will steal your heart! He is quiet
and gentle absolutely LOVES people. Trained in leading, tying, bathing,
clipping and trailers like a PRO. Also lunges both on the rope & free
style. Steren's movement is the next thing that you will love. When he
is moving out nicely, he looks like he's floating on air. His dam, Kjor
Tina, had such lovely movement, that she was accepted into a therapeutic
riding program. Steren moves very nicely and is doing well with voice
commands.
Steren is TRULY one of a kind! We've tried so many different things with
him and he just picks it up almost instantly (just like his momma). He's
had a bridle on - (no problem, he just picked it up in his mouth and went
on exercising), walked & trotted over the mystery tarp on the ground
(yeah, so what, its different and loud, he didn't care), even water (walks
through it like no big deal). Running & yelling kids (yeah that's
what they do). And then there is his personality - EASY. Tell him "stall"
and he walks into his stall and waits for his food. You can almost call
him like a dog and he will come. As a Fjord, we expect good personalities
and temperaments, but he goes above and beyond the call of Fjord duty.
Steren stands nicely for the farrier as well as for children, who absolutely
adore him. After two days at a Nordic Fest and over a thousand people
petting him & touching him, he never once showed any signs of "sourness"
and only wanted more! He wins over husbands and those scared of horses.
He is a great example of what a Norwegian Fjord horse's personality &
temperment should be.
He's at a great age to put all your personal touches on or we can continue
