Ghostriders Rodeo Drill Team, The Official Rodeo Drill Team of Texas and official state symbol as signed into law by Governor Rick Perry.
The Ghostriders feature the Adult Team, the Coed Youth Team, Cowgirls Inc and the Texans. We perform at rodeos, competitions, special events and parades and have been a regular performing team at the Famous Mesquite Rodeo.
We currently hold the State Title In Rodeo and Youth Competition, Quadrille and Color Guard. The Ghostriders and Cowgirls Inc are also the National Champion in several events. Girlfriends and Their Horses (GATH) is a group of women, all involved with horses, who live in Houston and the surrounding areas. As a group, we try to get together for beach rides, camps, clinics, trail rides, shows, parades, and competitions. We share experiences and information about our horses. GATH is for women only. We are always looking for new members so if you live in the Houston area or close to, and are looking for other women who share your interest in horses, then we would love to have you with us!! The PineyWoods Horsemen Association is a non-profit group that involves people of all ages, from all walks of life; people who are interested in promoting equine activities in Houston County and the surrounding areas. We are dedicated to promoting horsemanship skills, knowledge, training opportunities, friendship and fun to our members. Plans are on the drawing board for the formation of a mounted search and rescue group to assist first responders when needed. If you have any interest in horses, want to learn more, want to share your experience with others, or just want to be around like minded horse folk, you need to be part of the PineyWoods Horsemen Association. 12/17/08

The Yee Ha Sisterhood is a group of equestriennes from all over the USA who visit and support each other via email regularly, and semi-regularly getting together in different areas for trail rides, horse shows, barn picnics, etc. Our members ride English, Western, bareback... some of us compete, some of us trail ride, some of us breed horses, some of us just love them. The group is for any lady who loves horses! No offense to our guys, but the group is limited to "Sisters" at this time.
