I want, need, looking for.....
Ranch caretaker position wanted
We are a retired couple looking for a ranch caretaking position, manager/asst.
manager, wrangler or other type employment on a small guest ranch, private
ranch, RV park, or resort in the western US (western or great plains states).
I worked on cattle ranches for about seven years prior to enlisting in
the Army where I served for 20 years. Since retiring in 1986, I have worked
at a variety of jobs including retail sales in the equine industry selling
a variety of equipment and feeds, and staff supervision of 3 to 10 personal.
I also had a horse boarding business for about 15 years, boarding 10 to
25 head of horses at a time in addition to my own small herd. I attended
a saddle making course and now I clean, repair, and rebuild saddles and
tack. In 2005 I worked as a wrangler for a trail riding outfit in the
Black Hills. In 2006-2007 I worked as a caretaker on a horse and mule
ranch in Skull Valley, AZ. Eva worked for the federal government in the
fields of accounting, finance, contracting and purchasing for 24 years.
She is experienced in customer service with excellent phone and written
communication skills. She is also highly skilled in working with and experienced
with MS Excel spreadsheets and Word documents. Eva has worked at RV parks
doing housekeeping, retail sales, and performing various administrative
tasks. We have a 2006 35-foot travel trailer. We are looking for employment
that provides living quarters or full hook-up for our RV plus wages. Stan

I'm a 35 year old male with family looking for a boarding stable that
is needing a working manager. A place where I can bring my 7 horses and
continue my training and breeding.
I'm capable of management, horse chores, minor maintenance, construction,
equipment operation, and fencing. Been around horses most of my life(Quarter
& Paint).
