We are a brand new Natural Horsemanship boarding and training center just
minutes from Buffalo and the suburbs! Our barn is a former polo barn and
is complete with 10x12 stalls, a state-of-the-art 80x150 indoor arena,
3 separate tack rooms with large saddle racks and plenty of space for
trunks, wide aisles with crossties, a round pen accessible all times of
the year, five pastures one of which is 30 acres, trailer parking and
a heated lounge and restroom! We offer full board, pasture board and training

Prairie Star Ranch Prairie Star Ranch has two barns, indoor and outdoor riding rings and miles of trails, and we offer a variety of services for horse enthusiasts. We are a full care facility with daily turnout (weather permitting) Some stalls also have a private turnout attached to allow the horse in and out all day as well. Horses are fed three times per day. There are two feedings of three flakes of hay and grain and one just hay. We make all our own hay, it is a grass/ timothy/ bird's foot blend. Beat pulp is offered free of charge to any horse in need as well. Daily pasture turnout is provided (weather permitting) there are two groups that rotate in the pasture, one in the morning, one in the afternoon. We currently have 2 12 x 12 stalls available in our small, friendly professionally
operated barn. Located in Sharon Springs, NY, just 45 minutes west of
Albany and easy access to the NYS Thruway. Professional trainer/judge
facility owner lives on the property. Seller Information. All of the horses
here live like they are members of our family. We offer private or semi
private daily turnout (weather permitting) on safe, green pastures that
are 1-2 acres each, individualized feeding programs, outdoor riding area
and lots of beautiful trails and dirt roads for hacking. Board starts
at $300 a month, which includes grain 2x daily, hay 4-6x daily, turn out
weather permitting, blanketing/fly masks as needed, feeding of owner provided
supplements/meds, stalls cleaned daily, deep bedding and lots of personalized
care including grooming and holding for vet/farrier. Lay-up and veterinary
care costs determined on an as needed basis. Our barn is currently occupied
by 4 show horse and 2 retired show horses, all owned by either the facility
owner, one active boarder and one out of town boarder. While we do show
horses ourselves, we do not have the normal intense show barn feel to
our facility. We have been long time clients of the Equine Clinic at OakenCroft,
a 5-6 vet equine only practice, but also work with a multi-species practice
located just 10 miles away for additional emergency coverage. Our horses
get checked every night before we go to bed, where their blankets get
adjusted as needed, another flake of hay is fed and water topped off,
and they get whatever type of treat they prefer as a good-night snack.
