Maple Grove
Hinnemann Farms- Dressage instruction, training, and sales with
accomplished rider and trainer Natalie Hamilton-Hinnemann. Natalie started
her riding career in Minnesota at the age of six. When she was ten, she
began dressage lessons with Grand Prix rider Bill Solyntjes of Brandywine
Farms, Hamel MN. She studied with Solyntjes for 7 years, learning
the basics of dressage. During her time at Brandywine, Natalie expanded
her dressage education by working with Michelle Gibson and Jan Ebling.
At age seventeen, Natalie relocated to Adventure Farms in Murrieta, CA;
where she was a working student for FEI rider and two-time US Olympic
team member Kathleen Raine. After 4 years Natalie was offered and accepted
a position as Assistant Trainer for Raine. She then went on to work with
Leslie Morse. Natalie stayed with Morse through the 2003 Grand Prix Championships
in Gladstone after which, she accompanied Ra ine’s husband, David
Wightman to the Verden Young Horse Championships. Once in Germany, Natalie
then decided to stay and work with Dutch Olympic team coach, Johann
Hinnemann for 9 months. She also had the opportunity to work with
Olympic Silver medallist Coby
Van Baalen, helping her bring her Grand Prix stallion Weltino back
from an injury. Her other duties included riding for Marlees Van Baalen
while she was away at shows and Natalie also exercised stallions Laurentainer
(World champion six-year-old dressage horse in Arnhem and won at the International
Stallion show in Zwolle) and Roman Nature (Reserve World Champion five-year-old
dressage horse in Arnhem). She has also worked with Christine Traurig,
and Shelly Francis. Natalie has returned with husband Stephan Hinnemann
and is currently teaching and training out of several T win Cities barns
and has just opened her own barn in Oak Park, Minnesota. Natalie’s
many accomplishments along with clinics that are offered at Hinnemann
