WH Backcountry Basics Book Release
South Carolina trainer, Mike Kinsey of Belton SC, has been honored by
having Western Horseman publish a book about the trainer's trail methods
and training philosophy.
The book, "Backcountry Basics" is based on the award winning
articles of the same name. New information, including training philosophy,
and practical horse psychology is covered. The breath-taking photography,
by renown equine photographer John Brasseaux, shows some of South Carolina's

Mike has competed in Competitive Trail in the Open Division and has made
a name for himself for training WELL MANNERED cooperative horses. Mike
