I Want

Illinois Sale Horses

I am a 24 year old registered black (even though most of my photos have a brown tinge to them) Thoroughbred and I am looking for a good home. I have lived in my pasture with my herd mates for the past 15 years and would need a good space to run to keep my joints limber. My vet (Dr. Dana Lerner from Decatur) says I am in excellent health (0 worm load!) for my age although my left front foot is a club foot. I am never lame on it but will be uneven gaited to ride unless I have proper shoes on. I have been ridden English since I have been with the Rhoades’s at White Horse Farm. I am not for a beginner rider because I am very spirited but I listen well and give a safe ride (at least Sara has always felt safe on me). Please come see me. You will fall in love with me! You can either call my owners, Ron or Sara Rhoades at 217/840-9473 or 217/493-9654 respetively or email whf@rhoadesgroup.com for more information. 2/4/08

My husband and I are moving out of state and have decided to quit showing. We are selling the animals that are not suitable for trailing in the mountains. For sale is a six year old park pleasure American saddlebred named My Name Is Earl. We have had this handsome guy for four years and have shown him as has a professional trainer. He is 16.2 hands, bay, and very loving. He is also gaited and easy to care for. He is sired by Tiger Woods. I would be willing to trade this guy for a good trail horse. Also for sale is a roadster pony, 7 years old, with show experience, and a pleasure pony, rides and drives, six years old, with show experience. Both are easy to handle and care for. Please contact me at 217-440-5400. 12/12/07
