Cowboys and Cowgirls hit the western trail
Members of the Wilson Butte 4-H club are planning their 5th annual Cowboy trail ride and Poker Run for April 27. The fundraising event is set with registration beginning at 9:30 a.m. and Cowpokes can hit the trail up to 11:00 a.m. riding 2-2 1/2 ride around the Blackstock Ranch. The dusty trail includes, side winder gulch, Easy keepers flat, and along the way, Riders will draw for those Wild West cards, which was know back then for cheating and gun fights. Organizers plan an enjoyable day! There will be 3 top prizes for fun run winners and a chance of winning "many" other raffle items. Horseless riders are also welcome to "join us" and swap story's around the campfire as Cowpokes return for lunch with buckaroo beans, Country Harmony by the Sevy Family Band, and the best dressed little buckaroo contest for 9 and under. For further information call the W.B. Trail Boss's at 896-4512 or 467-4250 Hyw 78 between Marsing and Given Hot Springs. 2/29/08
