Turkey Creek Cabins & Horse Camp is secluded in a wooded cove in the Pisgah National Forest, high in the Great Smoky Mountains, just minutes from the Big Creek entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Located 6 miles off I-40 between Asheville, NC, and Knoxville, TN, it is within visiting distance of Knoxville, Asheville, Maggie Valley, Cataloochee Ski Resort, Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, Dollywood, the Biltmore Estate, the Cherokee Indian Reservation with it's Harrah's Casino Complex, and much more. Although centrally located and easily accessible, Turkey Creek Cabins & Horse Camp is serenely isolated from the noisy world outside. Come and enjoy the beauty of the Smoky Mountains from the front porch of a cozy one-bedroom, one-bath, log cabin. All cabins sleep four with a queen-size bed in the bedroom and a queen-size sofa bed in the living area. Furthermore, they are fully furnished and fully equipped. Amenities include: fully equipped kitchen w/ microwave, gas log fireplace, ceiling fans, linen and blankets provided, satellite TV, telephone, and washer/dryer combo unit in each cabin. Our property is gated so you are insured privacy and security for you and your horses. Our cabins rent for $600.00 a week (seven nights) or $100.00 a night with a two night minimum with a $100.00 refundable security deposit, $35.00 cleaning fee, and 10.75% tax. There is a pet fee of $10.00 a night for a dog or horse or $50.00 for a week. This includes pasture for horses. There are no trailer hookups available. We take credit cards through PayPal. If you would like to see pictures of the cabins and the location, you can look on our website at www.turkeycreekcabins.com. It also has links to activities available in the area. If you have any further questions you can email Linda Schmersahl at info@turkeycreekcabins.com or call 770-862-4833. If you want peace and quiet, Turkey Creek Cabins and Horse Camp is the place to find it. We would love to have you as our guests. 7/26/08
