With regard to the offer of free board in exchange for feeding out two horses that we previous notified you of, we have changed how that would work in response to a number of inquiries we received. We are now looking for a few people, each with their own horse to board free in exchange for feeding the horses on a rotating schedule. Therefore, each person would feed in a rotation of three people so that no one person is required to feed every morning and every evening. When special events come up, those doing the feeding can arrange schedule changes with each other. We are west of 75 between Weston and Bonaventure Rd. right off of Griffin. I am looking for a half board beginning May 1, 2005. It is a nice stall area with tack room and two pastures. I am happy to muck once per day, check on horse 3 times per day, feed at night, check on water levels, and turn out to pasture once per day for several hours. I have 3 children who are six and under and would like a gelding or mare between 6-15 yrs. old...this is negotiable if it is a loving and patient horse. Your horse will receive lots of love and attention. There is a private entrance to the stall area that the horse owner is welcomed to use daily between the hours of 6AM and midnight.
